Constructive View is a fully independent, non affiliated organisation. With this offers us the ability, to work, unbiased, along side designers and contractors, reviewing construction drawings, from a builders perspective.
We liaise with designers/contractors throughout design & construction stages. We do, however, strongly recommend an early introduction, as this offers the best opportunity for the time and cost efficiency.
Having personally have seen far too many instances where new drawings hit construction sites only to be picked apart by the construction team resulting in numerous RFI’s.
I have often thought how much easier it would be for involved if these problems had been raised sooner..

I'm Matt,
I started Constructive View in 2023. I have several years experience within New Zealand’s commercial construction industry.
Having worked for a Tier 1 Main Contractor throughout NZ and being employed in a range of roles, I have first handedly, experienced the problems that can be associated with new IFC drawings on a live construction site.
With my unique experience I’m able to offer a construction drawing review process to mitigate these common issues.
We expect with our calibre of experience to offer Architects/Designers, throughout New Zealand, the opportunity to have their construction drawings independently reviewed from a builder’s perspective.
By addressing these issues early on can save time, avoid common issues and mitigate risks; removing RFI’s, highlighting problematic construction detailing and ensuring complaint designs will optimize the construction process thus avoiding financial implications later on in the project.
Having experienced the number of RFI’s often required with new IFC drawings are confident that the service Constructive View offer will save time & money for Architects nationwide.
We believe this will improve the client, builder & consultant relationships whilst also enhancing designers credentials throughout the industry.
